The Screaming Citadel Reading Order

Overview

Star Wars: The Screaming Citadel (Review) is a single storyline that takes place across the Star Wars and Doctor Aphra series. These five issues should all be read in the order detailed above in order for the story to make sense.

Before Reading

This crossover event immediately follows Star Wars Vol. 5: Yoda's Secret War (Review) and Doctor Aphra Vol. 1: Aphra (Review). Despite following both storylines, it has much more to do with the Doctor Aphra series than the Star Wars series. It is possible to read this event on its own, but to get the full experience we recommend reading Doctor Aphra Vol. 1: Aphra (Review) first.

After Reading

Technically, Star Wars Vol. 6: Out Among the Stars (Review) and Doctor Aphra Vol. 2: Doctor Aphra and the Enormous Profit (Review) both immediately follow this event. However, the effects of this event are almost exclusively felt in the Doctor Aphra series and only receive brief mentions in the Star Wars series.
