All Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Pre-Order Bonus Options and Where to Buy Them

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl are two of the latest upcoming Pokémon games. These are remakes of Diamond and Pearl that that bring the classic games to the Nintendo Switch.

If you’re looking at picking up these games, you may be wondering where to buy them. The answer to this question might depend on which pre-order bonus options you’re interested in. So, we took a look at all of the available pre-order bonuses available and where they are available from.

Note: This list focuses on US-specific pre-order bonuses. In addition, almost all of these retailers indicate that pre-order bonuses are only available while supplies last.

All Orders

Every version of the game will allow you to receive a Manaphy egg until February 21, 2022. Choosing “Get via Internet” from the Mystery Gift function will give this bonus. An internet connection is required to receive the Manaphy Egg, but a Nintendo Switch Online subscription (paid) is not required. It takes approximately two hours of play time before you are able to access the Mystery Gift function.

This makes this a good option for fans who want to order the game from a retailor that does not offer a pre-order bonus, like Amazon. Technically, you don’t even have to pre-order for this option, you simply need to access the Mystery Gift before February 21, 2022.

Best Buy

Pre-order the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Double Pack from Best Buy and receive a keychain with 3 charms featuring the 3 Sinnoh starter Pokémon, Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup.

Gamestop

Pre-order the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Double Pack from Gamestop and receive a Dialga and Palkia Pin Set.

Nintendo E-Shop

Download Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Pokémon Shining Pearl from the Nintendo eShop by February 21, 2022, and you’ll receive a code for 12 Quick Balls. If you order the Double Pack, you’ll also receive two additional serial codes, each redeemable for 100 Poké Balls.

  • Bonus: A code for 12 Quick Balls.

Pre-order Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, or the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Double Pack from Pokémon Center and receive plush key chains. There are three plush key chains, one for each Sinnoh starter Pokémon, Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup.

Pre-ordering either Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl will include one plush key chain, selected at random, for each eligible game you pre-order (the selection is random, if you pre-order multiple games, there is a chance you will receive multiple plush key chain of the same character). Pre-ordering the Double Pack will include all three plush key chains.

Target

Pre-Order the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Double Pack from Target and receive a Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Pokemon Shining Pearl journal. The journal appears to feature Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup on the front.

Walmart

Pre-Order the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Double Pack from Walmart and receive a pen set. The journal appears to contain three pens, with each featuring a different Sinnoh starter Pokémon.
