All Upcoming DC Absolute Editions (November 2019 – August 2020)

DC Comics has quite a few Absolute Editions coming in the future. To simplify what to expect, we created a list of all solicited editions currently set for release between today and August of 2020. This list details the contents and release date for each collection.
Readers should keep in mind that solicitations like these often undergo changes before release. Contents, release dates, and collection sizes could all be altered before the book comes out, or the book could be canceled altogether. This means that this list is likely to be what is released in the future, but nothing is guaranteed.
- Absolute DC: The New Frontier 15th Anniversary Edition
- Collects the original six-issue miniseries, Justice League: The New Frontier Special, and a New Frontier story from SOLO #5. It also features over 50 pages of designs, sketches and preliminary artwork from Darwyn Cooke.
- Release Date: November 26, 2019
- Absolute Batman: The Dark Knight: The Master Race
- Collects the full nine-issue miniseries and its minicomic tie-in issues. It also collects over 150 variant covers, a sketchbook gallery packed with behind-the-scenes extras, and the prequel story Dark Knight Returns: The Last Crusade.
- Release Date: December 10, 2019
- Absolute Death
- Collects the miniseries Death: The High Cost Of Living and Death: The Time Of Your Life. Also collects “The Sound of Her Wings” and “Façade” from The Sandman #8 and #20, the P. Craig Russell-illustrated “Death and Venice” from The Sandman: Endless Nights, and the never-before reprinted stories “A Winter’s Tale” and “The Wheel.” This collection also features an introduction by The Dresden Dolls’ Amanda Palmer, extensive galleries of Death portraits and retail products, sketches by artist Chris Bachalo, and the complete original script by Gaiman for The Sandman #8.

- Absolute Daytripper
- Collects Daytripper #1-10. Also includes concept designs, scripts, and other behind the scenes material.
- Release Date: April 7, 2020
- Absolute Fourth World by Jack Kirby Vol. 1
- Collects Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen #133-139 and #141-148; The New Gods #1-11; The Forever People #1-11; and Mister Miracle #1-18. Also includes later stories from New Gods #4 and DC Graphic novel #4.
- Release Date: May 19, 2020
- Absolute Swamp Thing by Alan Moore Vol. 2
- Collects Saga of the Swamp Thing #35-49 with brand-new coloring.
- Release Date: August 11, 2020
