All Upcoming MIT Press Collected Comics (now until August 2021)
MIT Press isn’t exactly a major presence in the world of comic books. However, over the next few months, they have several unique and interesting comics coming out. A few are focused on graphic storytelling while others focus on pairing graphic illustration with information. Either way, the comics here offer something unique.
This is a list of all solicited editions currently set for release between today and August of 2021. This list details the contents and release date for each collection. Readers should keep in mind that comic companies may edit or completely cancel these solicitations before release. This means that this list is likely to be what is released in the future, but nothing is guaranteed.
- Chronosis
- Collects the entire Chronosis series in full color, along with additional background materials including early sketches, script notes, and alternative covers.
- Release Date: March 9, 2021
- The Curie Society
- Collects the original graphic novel.
- Release Date: April 27, 2021
- Wonderflux
- Collects illustrated essays that consider emergent consistencies and overarching issues that defined the first decade of e-flux journal.
- Release Date: June 29, 2021
- Red Lines: Political Cartoons and the Struggle against Censorship
- Collects a graphic narrative on “censorship of political cartoons around the world”.
- Release Date: August 31, 2021
