“Batman: A Death in the Family”, “Superman: Last Son”, and more to receive Deluxe Editions

It has been a while since our last list of all upcoming DC Comics deluxe editions was released and, since then, a number of exciting, new collections have been solicited. Many of these collections focus on classic or highly regarded storylines from the past, including: Batman: A Death in the Family, Superman: Last Son, and JLA: The Tower of Babel. Others collect more recent material, like: Dark Nights: Death Metal or Detective Comics #1027. Either way, the collections are exciting and will collect some great stories in a nice format.

Below is a list of all DC Comics deluxe editions that have been solicited since ComicBookWire’s last major update of all upcoming DC Comics deluxe editions. Readers should keep in mind that solicitations like these often undergo changes before release. Contents, release dates, and collection sizes could all be altered before the book comes out, or the book could be canceled altogether. This means that this list is likely to be what is released in the future, but nothing is guaranteed.

• The Sandman: The Deluxe Edition Book Two
  • Collects The Sandman, “Fear of Falling” from Vertigo Preview #1, The Sandman #17-31, Sandman Special #1, and the Vertigo: Winter’s Edge stories “Flowers of Romance,” “A Winter’s Tale,” and “How They Met Themselves.”
  • Release Date: March 2, 2021
• Superman: The Last Son The Deluxe Edition
  • Collects Action Comics #844-846, #851, #866-870, and Action Comics Annual #11.
  • Release Date: March 9, 2021
• Sgt. Rock: Between Hell & a Hard Place Deluxe Edition
  • Contents unclear, however, it will likely collected the “Sgt. Rock: Between Hell & a Hard Place” one-shot.
  • Release Date: March 30, 2021
• Dark Nights: Death Metal Deluxe Edition
  • Collects Dark Nights: Death Metal #1-6.
  • Release Date: April 6, 2021

• Batman: A Death in the Family Deluxe Edition
  • Collects Batman #426-429, #440-442, The New Titans #60-61, and material from Batman Annual #25.
