“Batman: The Deluxe Edition Book 6” Has Been Solicited by DC Comics

Right after the Rebirth era started, DC began publishing impressive Deluxe Editions for several comics. Most of these Deluxe lines ended after a major climax in the series or after a specific writer’s run ended. However, the Batman line of Deluxe Editions continued, as it was still in the process of collecting Tom King’s run on Batman (Reading Order). The last volume in this Deluxe line, Batman: The Deluxe Edition Book 5, came out well over a year ago and, because of this, many fans were nervous that a Book 6 would never come. Now, we’ve finally got information about the next book in this lineup.

Batman: The Deluxe Edition Book 6 is currently set for release on July 26, 2022. The solicitation states that the book will collect Batman #70-71, 73-85, Batman Annual #4, and Batman Secret Files #2. This would, essentially, finish collecting Tom King’s run on the Batman series. However, it is unclear if the exclusion of Batman #72 is simply a misprint or is intentional, since it is a regular part of the run and there doesn’t seem to be any reason to exclude it. We’re guessing it may be a misprint with the solicitation but aren’t fully sure of this. As with all early solicitations, the exact details may change as the release date gets closer.

The pre-order page for Batman: The Deluxe Edition Book 6 is not currently up. Make sure to check back here later though because we’ll be updating this article with the product link once it becomes available!
