New Vertigo “Compendiums” on the way from DC Comics

There are a few exciting, new collections of Vertigo material on the way from DC Comics. New “Compendium” editions are set to collect dozens of issues from classic and highly-regarded comics into large paperback volumes. Collections like this have been a standard offering from Image Comics for quite a while but are relatively new coming from DC/Vertigo. Two of the collections are already out, several more are already solicited, and even more may be in store at some point in the future.
You can see the current list of all “Compendium” collections below. However, keep in mind that future solicitations are often subject to change.
- Ex Machina Compendium One
- Collects Ex Machina #1-25 and Ex Machina Special #1-2.
- Release Date: March 24, 2020
- DMZ Compendium One
- Collects DMZ #1-36.
- Release Date: March 31, 2020
- Fables Compendium One
- Collects issues #1-41, Fables: The Last Castle, Fables: 1,001 Nights of Snowfall, and a short story from Fables: Legends in Exile!
- Release Date: September 29, 2020
- Y: The Last Man Compendium One
- Collects first 31 issues of Y: The Last Man.
- Release Date: November 10, 2020
- Ex Machina Compendium Two
- Collects Ex Machina #26-50 and Ex Machina Special #3-4.
- Release Date: February 23, 2021
