Overview

Superman: Krypton Returns (Review) is a DC Comics crossover event that has the "Super-family" dealing with the possible return of Krypton. This return presents complications to the structure of the universe and the stability of the timeline, which the heroes are forced to deal with. It is also accompanied by antagonism from H'el, who's background and history are finally revealed here.

Krypton Returns stretches across an issue from each "Super" series published at the time. The event also gets some important backstory from Superman #23.3, a "Villains' Month" issue that focuses on H'el.

Before Reading

Superman: Krypton Returns (Review) is essentially a sequel to the Superman: H'el on Earth (Reading Order) event. It directly advances the story surrounding H'el, his mysterious origins, and his connection to Krypton.
