New 52

At the beginning of the New 52, a new version of Kid Flash was introduced. Though this version of Kid Flash shares a number of similarities with Bart Allen, it is eventually made clear that this is a different character with a different backstory.

This version of Kid Flash was a major player throughout the New 52 Teen Titans series. He continued as a major player there until the series ended.

Notes
  1. Though this issue features Kid Flash as a main character, it has very little effect on his life. In addition, the story told here is left unfinished and is never continued or completed in any other comic.
  2. The Teen Titans only make a small appearance here. However, their actions during this storyline provide the basis for The Trial of Kid Flash (Review). These actions are summarized at the beginning of The Trial of Kid Flash (Review), making this storyline somewhat nonessential.

Rebirth

Besides a few cameos and flashbacks, Kid Flash (Bar Torr) has yet to appear in the Rebirth era of DC Comics.
