Super Sons Reading Order

This reading order is designed to give an outline of major storylines featuring the Super Sons team-up throughout DC Comics. This team-up specifically consists of the real sons of Batman and Superman, not imaginary or alternate-universe versions. This reading order may not encompass every one of their appearances but is an outline of the major ones and the stories that affect them.

The continuity details relating to each specific storyline are explained in the “Review” of each storyline. Every “Review” link will provide a detailed continuity breakdown of that story and will explain any reference the story makes to other aspects of the DC Universe. All of this can be found under the “Continuity” section of each link.

Rebirth

The Super Sons team-up of Damian Wayne (Reading Order) and Jon Kent is created during the Rebirth era and does not appear before this era. Before this era, only imaginary or alternate-dimension versions of this team-up existed.

The Super Sons team-up is formed in early issues of the Superman series. From here, the Super Sons star in their own series and even go on to form a major part of the Super Sons of Tomorrow (Reading Order) crossover event. Their adventures in their solo series help advance their status as partners and bring them into the next era.

Superman issues are from the Vol. 4 series.
Teen Titans issues are from the Vol. 6 series.

Notes

1. Only the "The Last Minute" story is relevant to this reading order.
2. These issues are mostly about Superman (Reading Order) and Superboy. However, Damian appears in a few of these issues and his role, at times, serves as a quick reunion for the Super Sons.
3. This issue is mostly about the Legion of Super-Pets. However, it also features brief appearances from the Super Sons.
4. This issue features a significant appearance from the Super Sons. However, it ends up focusing more on Dynomutt and does little to advance the Super Sons' story.
