Two more “Heavy Metal” variant covers on the way for Murder Falcon

The Image Comics’ series Murder Falcon is an action-packed book about using kung fu fury and music to defend the Earth. In the past, the series, created by Daniel Warren Johnson, has celebrated its musical influences through variant covers based on heavy metal albums, a trend which is set to continue. This spring will feature two new “Heavy Metal” variant covers for the series.

Murder Falcon #6 is set to be an homage to Megadeth’s Rust in Peace. This new cover features art from acclaimed Redlands artist Vanesa Del Rey. Issue #6 will hit stores on Wednesday, March 13th and the final order cutoff deadline for comics retailers is Monday, February 18th.

Murder Falcon #7 is set to be an homage to Dio’s Holy Diver. This new cover features art from Eisner Award-winning artist Erica Henderson. Issue #7 will hit stores on Monday, April 10th and the final order cutoff deadline for comics retailers is Monday, March 18th.
