Unbreakable Trilogy Watching Order

This watching order is designed to give an outline of the Unbreakable movie trilogy, also known as the Eastrail 177 Trilogy movie franchise. It explains what order to watch the movies and looks at any connections between them.

Unbreakable Trilogy

The Unbreakable film franchise is unique for multiple reasons. The first is that the first two films are mostly independent from each other. These two movies feature separate narratives that are unrelated to each other, as they are only connected through a brief moment from the end of the second film. The second reason is that the films each have a dramatically different tone. However, the third film brings both narratives together and brings the franchise to a close.

The first film in the Unbreakable film franchise is Unbreakable (2000). This film is a mystery thriller that serves as an origin story for some of the franchise’s main characters. The second film, Split (2016) is a psychological horror film that also serves as an origin story for a main character. Finally, Glass (2019) brings together characters and narrative elements from both Unbreakable and Split. In this way, Glass serves as a sequel to both and a finale for the series.

As of now, these three films are the only pieces of media within this film universe. It is unconfirmed if any more films are coming.
