Batman Silver Age, Justice League by Geoff Johns, Doom Patrol by Rachel Pollack, and More Omnibus Editions on the Way from DC Comics
Several new DC Comics Omnibus Editions have recently been solicited. Many of these collections continue Omnibus series that are already in publication while others start new runs. However, many of these solicitations are still very early and the pre-order pages are not even up for most of them (make sure to check back here though, because we’ll be updating this article once the pre-order pages are up!).
These new Omnibus editions include a few great selections. The Doom Patrol by Rachel Pollack Omnibus collects issues that contain the classic Doom Patrol weirdness while also tackling societal issues as well. The Justice League: The New 52 Omnibus Vol. 2 collects the full second half of Geoff Johns’ run on the Justice League, which includes the awesome Forever Evil (Reading Order) and Darkseid War (Reading Order) events. The Batman: The Silver Age Omnibus Vol. 1 starts a new era in Batman Omnibus collections. And the Superman: The Golden Age Omnibus Vol. 7 continues the series from Superman: The Golden Age Vol. 6.
