New “YouNeek YouNiverse” Collections on the Way from Dark Horse
Over the past several years, YouNeek Studios has built up a “massive, interconnected universe of sci-fi, fantasy and superhero content spread across multiple timelines with stories told from an African perspective.” Comics from YouNeek Studios are notable for their characters and content but are also notable for the fact that they share a universe, much like Marvel and DC. Now, new collections for these comics are on the way from Dark Horse.
Solicitations for Malika: Warrior Queen, E.X.O.: The Legend of Wale Williams Volume 1, and Iyanu: Child of Wonder Volume 1 have all recently appeared. Some of these collections have been published before, but the new collections are also set to include “never-before-seen bonus material”. This is also just the start, as Dark Horse is set to publish the “entire line of previously self-published stories” and even plans to keep publishing “new and never-before-seen stories”. Altogether, this partnership could provide newer fans with a great entry point into the YouNeek YouNiverse.
