“Sleeper”, “Animal Man”, “Brightest Day”, and Five More DC Omnibus Reprints On the Way

Over the past few days, DC Comics has added several exciting Omnibus Editions to their upcoming solicitations. Just a few days ago, we discovered that Mark Waid’s run on The Flash is set to be collected in Omnibus format. Now, we’ve got news regarding eight upcoming Omnibus reprints.

These Omnibus reprints include Animal Man by Grant Morrison, the Brightest Day event, Marv Wolfman and Geroge Perez’s acclaimed work on New Teen Titans, the team-up of Harley Quinn & The Gotham City Sirens, the first half of the American Vampire saga, the timeless Wonder Woman by George Perez, Tim Seeley and Tom King’s unique work on Grayson The Superspy , and Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips’ Sleeper. Out of all of these, Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips’ Sleeper may be the most striking, as this Omnibus Edition was released way back in 2013.

These upcoming Omnibus Editions were all released at some point in the past. However, since their release, they are no longer in print and, thus, are pretty hard to get a hold of. Some of these old editions are now only available on the secondary market and can often cost over $200 for a used edition. Luckily, the release of these new collections will give fans a chance to own these comics in a prestige format.
