Omen Reading Order

This reading order is designed to give an outline of major storylines featuring Omen (Lilith Clay) throughout DC Comics. It does not encompass every one of her appearances, but is an outline of the major ones and the stories that affect them.

The continuity details relating to each specific storyline are explained in the “Review” of each storyline. Every “Review” link will provide a detailed continuity breakdown of that story and will explain any reference the story makes to other aspects of the DC Universe. All of this can be found under the “Continuity” section of each link.

New 52

With the beginning of the New 52, the DC Universe’s continuity was reset. This effectively wiped Lilith Clay’s pre-New 52 history clean.

Omen was then reintroduced through the Teen Titans series. She had a very small role in the series which did not ultimately amount to much. Later on, this role appears to have been retconned in an unidentified continuity shift, since this period of time is not mentioned again and she essentially comes back as a completely different character.

Omen is then re-reintroduced through the Titans Hunt series. This miniseries brings back some of Lilith’s pre-New 52 history. It also provides the basis for Lilith’s progression going into the Rebirth era.

Notes
  1. Omen's appearances here are somewhat minor and are seemingly retconned almost immediately after they take place.

Rebirth

The Rebirth era directly continues Omen's story from the Titans Hunt series and her adventures with the recently reformed Titans (Reading Order).

These adventures play out through the Titans series. This series sees almost all of Omen's appearances from this era, outside of the Lazarus Contract (Reading Order) crossover event.
